Archie von Tholey is a large Shepherd/Retriever mix (our best guess), already weighing 70lbs at 7 months old. He is a playful, goofy, and affectionate boy, ready to go anywhere and be included in whatever his people are doing. He is a medium energy dog who is happy to go to the park to play tug or for a long walk but is also able to hang out at home all day with you when you’re sick. He loves the water but isn’t quite sure about swimming yet. He is a smart boy and very eager to please.  He meets dogs well on and off leash and gets along with big and small ones alike. He is confident and stable in new environments and is naturally very open and social with everyone he meets. This stunning boy is crate trained, potty trained, and is learning basic commands like sit, stay, and down.  Archie would do well in a variety of homes. He loves his furry foster sister, and they play well together. He is great with kids but as a large puppy that bumps into things, a family with older or no kids would fit best. He is such a special boy and easily one of the best dogs his foster family has had the pleasure of fostering. He has learned a lot in his foster home and with continued training, he will no doubt grow up to be such an amazing dog!
